A major technological breakthrough has landed on your AutoTuner Tool! We are thrilled to announce world-first, exclusive Bench mode support for the Denso VEA Gen2 (SPC5777M) ECU family!

A Look Back: In 2018, AutoTuner was the first to release support for the initial Volvo Denso ECUs (SH72546) equipping VEA engines. At that time, newer Denso ECUs powered by the Freescale SPC5777M processor, known as Gen2, were already present on the market, but remained unreadable/unwriteable since late 2017. Today, we have officially found the solution and brought full exclusive Bench capability to your Tool!

To streamline your workflow, this release also introduces an OBD patch following a one-time Bench unlock.

Note: For vehicles equipped with a Secure Gateway (SGW), we advise working in Bench mode to avoid long reading and writing procedures.

• ECU Variants Covered:
  • ECM-EAA, ECM-EBA, ECM-HAA, ECM-DAA, ECM-DAB, ECM-DBA, ECM-GAA (covering multiple ECU variants across all engine configurations)
  • Note: Some ECUs feature new protections and are identified as VEA Gen3, which are not yet supported. The Tool can identify the exact ECU generation directly via OBD.
